Scope of Work:

  • Automated storage & retrieval 

  • AGV Automation 

  • RFID, Barcode, camera, tracking technology

  • Process Automation 

  • Discovery & evaluate technology applications

  • Develop specialized solutions

  • Creation of automation standards

  • Standards development and refresh

  • Rapid ID & execution of Proof Of Concept

Scope of Responsibility:

  • Working collaboratively with Enterprise partners to identify gaps and propose high value productivity automation solutions.

  • Develop and implement multi-year automation roadmap including mission, goals, and budgets that align with business strategy and evolve with business needs

  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team and with stakeholders to challenge the status quo leveraging both new technologies and creative solutions within existing systems

  • Build strong relationships with our stakeholders

  • Focused on productivity improvements involving process automation, material movement automation, storage automation, and new packaging material that will enable automation.

  • Ability to seek out next-generation technologies and solutions. 

  • Drive standardization where applicable

  • Create the repository of automation standards accessible to the enterprise

  • Governance of automation projects

  • Selling and communicating the story - Able to take a complex subject and simplify. Communication to all levels of the organization.

  • Enterprise thinking

  • Focus on change management

  • Ensure efficient discovery and execution of solutions via external partners/integrators where appropriate

  • Enable data analytics & providing insights

  • Lead a team of Automation Engineers focused on strategic enterprise automation projects

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree; a degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.

  • 10 years of experience in a key leadership role.

  • Proven performance in strategic planning, project execution, and leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in Automation processes and large scale rollouts 

  • Passion and experience in Automation Ideation

  • Experience w/ Continuous Improvement Methodologies

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
