THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the people and operational aspects of a global immigration portfolios for one or more clients
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
On any given day, you will:
- Effectively manage the deliverables and work distribution for a team of US professionals and a team of LPO resources
- Coordinate and manage client immigration matters with local providers across multiple jurisdictions outside the U.S.
- Engage with client on timeline for deliverables, program resources, operational and portfolio support initiatives, and program reporting and analytics
- Lead continuous process improvement efforts to ensure the program is operating efficiently and effectively across all streams of work
- Develop training materials for internal team members and for client stakeholders
- Serve as first line of defense for trouble shooting new challenges faced by the team, whether it be new client demands, or government changes
- Review client reports and feedback, and lead the effort in managing key communications to the client regarding the overall program management
- Lead development of project operations, including complex protocols and project planning, for execution of high value client projects
- Organize daily team activities and priorities based on the evolving client need, including managing the fluctuating caseload of the team
- Review complex data reports, including quality assurance reporting to ensure data integrity
- Support lead attorneys and client group leadership in identifying issues in process, develop solutions, and oversee implementation
- Lead, train and mentor senior and junior team members (including temps) in the support of a client account team and in the completion of projects
- Regularly coach, evaluate, and recognize staff performance and accomplishments
- Identify inefficiencies within client account teams and work to streamline and standardize product lines to ensure repeatable best practices
- Serve as expert in all product lines handled by the team members, including immigrant and non-immigrant petitions
- Support, train on and implement applicable Firm operational processes, policies and procedures
YOU HAVE:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of Business Immigration related experience, including 3 years managing large-scale projects, developing processes and protocols, and maintaining client relationships for a high volume account or multiple smaller accounts
- Experience in managing key client relationships, liaising with foreign national population regarding and managing large-scale projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to partner with the key client stakeholders to routinely evaluate and assess an immigration programs' strengths and weaknesses and discuss program status and goals
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy; excellent knowledge and application of grammar and spelling
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and proprietary operating systems
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and shifting priorities
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
- A commitment to quality of finished product

The salary range for this role is $118,000 to $128,000 annually, which is based on a 40-hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
