HR Assistant- B Shift
Essential Job Functions:
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain good housekeeping.
Follow the appropriate reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement outages.
Follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment and comply with Schreiber and OSHA safety requirements.
Conduct interviews- onsite and over the phone.
Facilitate New Hire Orientation Workday training and oversee Workday task completion.
Assist in preparing for HR Audits.
Manage the plant's annual Affirmative Action plan.
Oversee communication and system updates associated with the Plant's internal bidding process.
Facilitate weekly staffing meetings with the HR team.
Update and maintain partner and position information in Workday.
Organize quarterly PIE meetings with plant partners and the Plant Manager.
Maintain partner attendance details in UKG and excel databases.
Participate in community and company-sponsored events.
Work cross-functionally to meet needs in departments across the facility.
Assist with other tasks as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Dependability (ability to maintain an absenteeism rate under 3%)
Schedule flexibility (ability to adjust schedule as needed to meet goals)
Ability to communicate effectively with all partners including the Plant Manager and Home Office resources
2-3 Years of experience working in HR Systems or Recruiting systems.
Ability to present to large (100+) groups of people.
Preference will be given to applicants who meet the most minimum and preferred qualifications.
Must pass a Microsoft Word and Excel assessment.
This is an interview position.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years of recruiting experience
2-3 of HR Assistant or HR Generalist experience
Working Conditions:
