Here is what you will be doing 

• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectives
• Operate/maintain heavy equipment including forklifts and jockey truck.
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
• Housekeeping duties, sweeping, washing down of work areas, and keeping restrooms, break rooms, and work rooms clean and tidy
• Assist Maintenance personnel, as needed and directed
• Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by Supervision

Requirements of a successful Operator  

• 2-years warehouse, plant, or industrial equipment experience is preferred
• Equipment certifications are a plus
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• High School diploma or GED
• Be able to read, write and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Physically able to handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
• Possess Environmental & Safety awareness
• Must be able to work a shift up to 12-hour to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
• Computer/tablet skills
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Here are some of the physical requirements for this role 

• This position is outside in ALL weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temps)
• Physically able to climb up and down rail equipment/ladders safely 
• Willing to work with break bulk and dry bulk materials 
• Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds
