We are seeking Training Planners (Sr) at all levels of experience (Junior thru Senior and SME) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO). We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals with a broad range of intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale to advance technical capabilities and maximize the effectiveness of USARPAC programs, operations, and partnerships throughout the USARPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR).
These positions are contingent upon contract award expected Summer 2024 and will be located in Hawaii.
Performs review of various planning and policy directives and operations requirements to determine the impact on missions. Research and coordinates demonstrations of new capabilities and tools that may be used in the training environment.
Duties:
- Provides proof of concept: plans demonstrations to the USARPAC who will determine if the capability/tool can be used. If accepted, works with the Training teams to determine where/how new technologies, capabilities, or personnel can be interjected into the training environment.
- Assists in the development, maintenance, and execution of courses.
- Performs exercise development tasks to complement team efforts to properly design, plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute assigned exercises and training events.
- Coordinates with operational and functional commands for their participation and support. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and tracks multiple concurrent training exercises.
- Develops schedules for mid to long range training plans.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a Bachelors degree but will accept years of experience in lieu of degree
- Hiring at all levels 0-20+ years
DESIRED:
- Command or joint level experience for Senior or SME hires
- Post graduate degree in associated field of study for Senior or SME hires
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must have an active TS clearance to start work
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
