SAIC is seeking a Targeting Manager to support efforts in Reach Back Analysis and Advanced Target Development (ATD) software improvements in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The individual would work closely with the Joint Technical Coordination/Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) Program office as well as the JTCG/ME Warfighter support Integrated Product Team Lead.
JOB DUTIES:
- Interfaces with operational users to gather requirements for improvement of JTCG/ME ATD software—specifically the JMEM Weaponeering System (JWS), Digital Imagery Exploitation Engine (DIEE), and Collateral Effects Library (CEL).
- Participates in Operational User Working Groups (OUWG) and Hands on Reviews (HORs) to guide discussions and evaluate software.
- Supports the development of Reach back Analysis packages by performing Quality Control (QC) and translation of engineering analysis results into operationally relevant materials.
- Supports the JTCG/ME review of relevant Policy and Guidance documentation.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience. Additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- 10 years of experience in the Targeting area with demonstrated knowledge of the Advanced Target Development process and development of Electronic Targeting folders desired.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the areas of Weaponeering, Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE), and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Candidate must currently hold a Secret Clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Military experience in the targeting area.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the evolving areas of hypersonics and global strike with emphasis on developing targeting packages, weaponeering, and CDE.
- Knowledge and experience in Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM).
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
