SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer Director to provide Senior Systems Engineering expertise to JSIL Project Managers and Systems Engineering Teams for all assigned MUSE Software suite, Army and Air Force UAS/RPA Trainers; Gray Eagle, Shadow, Hunter, Universal Mission Simulator (UMS), Reaper, Global Hawk.

JOB DUTIES:- Performs Systems Engineering activities including: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA)
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications
- Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and 20 years of experience
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability for a TS/SCI
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Solid leadership and management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution
- Possess experience with metrics for assessing and reporting program progress, productivity and variance analysis
- High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite, spreadsheets, and presentation software
- Excellent collaboration and working across organization skills to achieve top performance results
- Be growth minded to expand SAIC's Customer base
- Self-starter and a problem solver with ability to see the big picture and implement changes
- Demonstrated success in managing staff planning, project reviews, scheduling and budget control
- Successful track record in managing complex defense programs as a prime or subcontractor
- Excellent leadership and oral and written communication skills
- Experience managing programs and projects within a vertically integrated company
