SAIC seeks a full-time Associate Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer, the Systems Engineer will support planning, development, and delivery of PARCS and UEWR radar hardware and software modifications. This position is located on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Job Duties:
- Support System Engineering Team with requirements management and model-based systems engineering.
- Develop data sharing strategies between System Engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and iRIS.
- Support development of requirements.
- Support Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects to include risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM concentration.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and resolve gaps.
- Experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java, and DXL.
- Experience with object-oriented databases such as SQL.
Desired:
- Experience sustaining ground-based radar systems (GBRs), or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as UEWR or PAVE PAWS.
- Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) mission and associated enterprise.
- DoD relevant certification (i.e., Security + (ce), CSSLP, CISSP-ISSEP)
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
