SAIC is seeking a Sr. Principal SysML Modeling Integrator to provide support to the National Space Test and Training Complex program office in Colorado Springs, CO.

The following represents a general overview of duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and execute model development in support of systems engineering and architecture objectives and program milestones
• Responsible for updating MBSE models based on direction from the Chief Engineer and the Customer leads using best practices and adherence to the MBSE style guide
• Oversee definition and documentation of program level policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of modeling languages and frameworks
• Develop modeling methods driven by Digital Engineering and Systems Engineering objectives, including library of standardized and frequently used patterns

Qualifications

This is you:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Science or a technical related field and 14+ years of experience, or 12+ years w/Master's degree, or 10+ years w/PhD, supporting programs throughout the engineering life cycle with emphasis in one or more of the following areas (4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of degree):
  • Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis
  • Computational modeling
  • Data analytics
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated ability to develop system behavior, structure, data, and requirements models employing either Sparx, Cameo, Model Center, Matlab, STK, Python, and other associated modeling applications in a team environment
• Must have a current background investigation commensurate with Top Secret security clearance and able to obtain additional security accesses (willing to consent to a polygraph examination)

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, etc)
• Experience in the National Security Space mission area
• Experience in a systems engineering or digital engineering discipline
• Experience working with DoDAF and/or other MBSE architecture guidelines

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
