SAIC is seeking a SME/Sr. Systems Engineer to support the G/ATOR program in Stafford, VA. This is a hybrid position as candidate must be onsite with the customer as required.
 
Candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• Working directly with the customer team in Stafford and the team located in Charleston .
• Provide test and engineering support for the G/ATOR system.
• Vehicle modernization and integration
• Communication Systems integration 
• Draft documentation as required by the customer. 
• Visit and tour vendor facilities.
• Apply processes in accordance with the USMC and DoD.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and five (5) years' experience; Additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and cable run sheets to verify correct build of cables.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of various electrical and mechanical tools.
• Experience with common software and operating systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, but also in a team environment.
• Knowledge of radio systems is a bonus.
