SAIC is looking for a dynamic and innovative Senior Program Manager to manage a contract driving speed to capability for multiple DOD customers. This position will require technical acumen to oversee a complex, multi-disciplinary engineering program in an innovative, dynamic, and dispersed work environment. The candidate will have the ability to communicate across all levels of program personnel up to and including senior sponsor executives. Work will be performed on site in North Charleston, SC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior PM leads and takes ownership of all matters relating to and adherence of all contract requirements including controlling financial and administrative costs, staffing, delivery of technical contract deliverables, subcontracting, quality assurance, and other requirements as levied by the sponsor. The PM will actively engage with existing customers and develop new customer relationships driving contract utilization for growth of mission capabilities. The PM will be responsible for financial management of this contract. Financial oversight includes, working with the program's project controller to plan, execute and track all financial related tasks, work closely with the contracts, subcontracts, and procurement leads to acquire all program related material and services. The PM will manage risk and employee mitigation strategies to accelerate delivery of cutting edge technology on schedule. Support business development and program staff management.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or management-related field with a minimum eighteen (18) years of experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in management of rapid technology development for DOD to include leadership positions of increasing responsibility.
- Experience with complex technical programs to include C5ISR, Sensor Systems and Subsystems Integration, and Autonomous Systems Assessment.
- Experience managing and balancing prime and subcontract skill mix while ensuring coverage and corporate financial goals are met or exceeded.
- Must be a US Citizen with TS/SCI security clearance.
