SAIC is looking for an Sr. Logistics Management Specialist in Crane, IN to support the US Navy Small Arms Weapons Division, specific to the .50 caliber weapons.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Utilizing government information; tasking support includes: Cost/quality/schedule tracking for reporting to the customer, customer report preparation for technical and financial status, and/or services needed unique to this work tasking, physical and information security support unique to this tasking, safety support unique to this work tasking, process documentation unique to this work tasking, application of continuous improvement methods to the processes used in performing this specific tasking, ensuring compliance in all areas for unique work tasking requirements which may include:
a. Maintains inventory of weapon and weapon replacement parts utilizing Navy ERP.
b. Coordinates packaging and shipping of weapons, parts, tools, gauges, and ancillary equipment to USMC, USA, USSOCOM and USN components as required.
c. Provides inventory management and receipt inspection to support USN, USMC, USSOCOM and USA small arms.
d. Retrieval of weapons and parts from storage for inspection and maintenance.
e. Tracks incoming and outgoing weapons and parts shipments.
f. Prepares small acquisition purchase documentation.
g. Prepares requisitions requests for NSN (MILSTRIP) and contract specific parts.
h. Responds to inventory, shipping and receiving questions from small arms weapon users on in-service Navy, USMC and USA weapons.
Maintain PEBs for Code JXNM. The subcontractor shall track parts usage and recommend replacement as needed. All Pre Expended Bin (PEB) material shall be inventoried, stock levels monitored, and a report provided to the RTA on an as needed basis.
Populate and maintain weapon system bill of materials along with associated quantities required, quantities on hand and pricing data. The subcontractor will provide data to the RTA to make replace/reuse decisions for incoming weapon systems.
Maintain an electronic log of all shipments, turn-ins, shipping documents, locations and POCs and maintain an active account status in WEBFLIS, OneTouch, Army Vantage and ERP to facilitate the most current pricing and shipping information for both weapons and weapon parts.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 year of related experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust; not needed to start.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
