We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will oversee and manage all logistical aspects of a wide range of Department of Navy (DoN) and Department of Defense (DoD) Navigation systems, ensuring compliance with best practices and continuous improvement of logistics processes to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages all logistical aspects of a wide range of DoN and DoD Navigation systems.
- Responsible for advising program leadership on best practices to ensure compliance while meeting program goals.
- Oversee the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods throughout a supply chain, including managing transportation, warehousing, inventory levels, and delivery schedules, to ensure products reach the correct destination at the right time while minimizing costs and optimizing efficiency.
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions.
- Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet product delivery and financial objectives.
- Builds relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues.
- Integrates market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve competitive position.
- Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories.
- Safety protocols (Warehouse safety), including loading and unloading pallets, CONEX Containers, small and large equipment, and equipment/material storage shelves.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field with Six (6) to Ten (10) years of relevant experience; or Four (4) years of relevant experience with Masters in related field
- Expertise in inventory, production, and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of the Navy stock system to include National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and how they are applied and cross referenced in Allowance Parts Lists (APLs).
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Desired:
- Current Professional Logistics Certification – i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1
