SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provides direct support to NGJ-MB Logistics Team Lead. Reviews, analyzes, and comments on all NGJ-MB CDRLs.
  • Reviews engineering and logistics source data for adherence to program requirements. Ensures supportability products are in accordance with 4790.2D Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
  • Reviews and updates NGJ-MB Maintenance Planning products, Provisioning Requirements, Maintenance Requirements Card (MRC), Periodic Maintenance Identification Card (PMIC), technical manuals (IETMs) information.
  • Provides product support inputs on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives (TDs). Acts as NGJ-MB Power Gen/Management, Structures, Wiring, Cooling Subsystems Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics.
  • Supports NGJ-MB organic depot standup efforts, ensuring appropriate equipment is identified, acquired, and sustained.
  • Coordinates with NAWCAD Lakehurst on SERD submittals/updates.
  • Responds to fleet requests for engineering or technical data.
  • Participates in weekly and bi-weekly telecoms and meetings as required.
  • Occasionally briefs status to members of NGJ-MB FST, AEA Systems Division Management, PMA-234 Product Support, and fleet.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more of related experience or equivalent; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.  Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Prior experience with maintenance planning to include analysis and preparation of various maintenance plans
  • Experience identifying various maintenance actions: e.g., elapsed time of maintenance actions; task frequency; failure rate of an item; Mean Time to Repair an item; and an item's man-hour allocation by maintenance action and level.
  • Experience with development and implementation of ECPs/LECPs and associated supporting documentation
  • Position may require travel. 10%
  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
  • US Citizenship required

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior Airborne experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software application.
  • Working knowledge of JEDMICS, DoD EMALL and DRMO 
  • Experience with producing, analyzing and understanding Logistics Support Analysis Reports from a logistics database systems such as SLICwave/EAGLE.
