SAIC is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Enterprise IT Solutions & Delivery to lead the planning, development, and execution of IT solutions across the enterprise. This role is responsible for driving technology initiatives, overseeing enterprise IT programs, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT strategy, solution architecture, program management, and stakeholder engagement with significant experience in the defense market.

This is a hybrid-remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & IT Solutions Delivery
  • Define and execute the enterprise IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide IT solutions, including applications, platforms, and digital initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies that enhance business operations and customer experiences.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business units to understand strategic priorities and translate them into technology roadmaps.

• Program & Project Management
  • Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality assurance.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, best practices, and methodologies for IT project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT solution delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of IT professionals, including solution architects, project managers, and technical leads.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the IT organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and data teams, to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior IT leadership role overseeing enterprise IT solutions and delivery.

Required Skills:

• Enterprise IT architecture, applications, and digital transformation
• Agile, DevOps, and ITIL methodologies
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS/PaaS solutions
• ERP, CRM, and enterprise-wide applications
• IT program and portfolio management
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Required Security Clearance: 

• Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Desired Skills: 

• Experience in managing IT budgets and financial planning.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government) is a plus.
