SAIC is seeking multiple levels of DevSecOps Engineers with a strong background in embedded software to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will lead a team of intermediate and junior cybersecurity professionals, responsible for designing and implementing secure architecture, integrating security into DevOps practices, and ensuring compliance with NIST 800-171 requirements. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of secure systems, manage the integration of security controls, and provide guidance on risk assessments, threat modeling, compliance, and other cybersecurity tasks. The role requires strong technical leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring the delivery of secure and compliant information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines specifically for embedded software in Azure DevOps.
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into the design and development of embedded systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest in DevSecOps technologies and methodologies, applying them to improve our processes and output.
• Facilitate the adoption of Agile methodologies within the team, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.
• Conduct code reviews, security assessments, and testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Junior Level - Bachelor's and two (2) years of experience; Six (6) additional years' can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
• Senior Level - Bachelor's and five (5) years of experience; Six (6) additional years' can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
• Principal Level - Bachelor's and nine (9) years of experience; Six (6) additional years' can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).

Certification Requirements:

• Security+ CE or higher DoD 8570 Certification

Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess a Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

• Experience with C/C++/Java/YAML 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic customer-oriented environment
• Working knowledge of DISA STIG/SRG and STIG tools
• Experience with static code analysis/dynamic analysis (Tools: Parasoft, Coverity, Fortify)
