SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Scrum Master for the Core ServiceNow Team to support the Enterprise ServiceNow Platform for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6) and support all current and future integrations with command systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working at the direction of the IT Service Manager, Platform Owner and with other Platform Core Team roles and Technical Leads to facilitate and ensure the success of the ServiceNow project teams by promoting agile practices and fostering a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow, agile methodologies, and superior leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
· Facilitate and educate scrum processes with the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values with ServiceNow and other projects, as required
· Actively identify and remove obstacles which could hinder team and project progress, ensuring smooth execution
· Coordinate Sprints through planning and facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
· Ensure teams are delivering value incrementally and iteratively, meeting the definition of done and maintaining high-quality standards
· Serve as a liaison between the product owners, development team, and other key ServiceNow Core Team members, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and priorities
· Promote collaboration inside and outside the team, enhancing shared understanding and team synergy
· Use agile metrics to track and improve team performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement while ensuring clear reporting and transparency
· Advocate for Agile principles and practices within the organization, driving cultural change and continuous improvement
This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree
· Four (4) or more years of experience
· DoD Secret clearance or higher
· Must be a US Citizen
· Must have an ITIL V4 Foundations certification
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
· Ability to manage multiple, high, & competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
· Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels
· Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts to personnel at all levels of experience and responsibility
· Familiarity with network management, security, monitoring tools, and/or cloud technologies
· Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide and manage team dynamics and decision-making processes effectively
Desired Qualifications:
· DoD TS/SCI clearance
· Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or similar ServiceNow certification
· Micro-Certification - Agile and Test Management Implementation
· Agile Development 2.0 Simulator Micro Certification
· Experience with Agile software development tools to manage backlogs, sprints, and collaborative work
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
