We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Artist to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing graphic and artistic presentations that align with program needs. This role requires proficiency in using commercial automated graphics systems and desktop publishing systems.
Work is performed on site in Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.
This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually engaging graphic and artistic presentations to support various projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members, including designers, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Utilize commercial automated graphics systems and desktop publishing systems to create high-quality graphics and layout designs.
- Design and produce a variety of visual materials, including training materials, technical documentation, and briefs.
- Ensure that all graphics and presentations are consistent with guidelines and project specifications.
- Review and revise graphics based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and desktop publishing.
- Maintain an organized library of graphic assets and templates for use in future projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality graphics.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of experience developing graphic/artistic presentations.; One (1) year of specialized experience using commercial automated graphics systems, and desktop publishing systems. ***Note: Experience may be concurrent.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is preferred.
