SAIC is currently looking for information technology professionals who are interested in supporting the Air Force National Capital Region Information Technology Services (AF NCR ITS) as technical, logistics, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

The AF NCR ITS Team will provide professional, administrative, technical, logistics, and management support for the U.S. Air Force's 844th Communications Group (844 CG) as the service provider to the Air Force District of Washington AFDW. For the AFDW and Air Force units throughout the NCR, the 844 CG mission includes supporting and providing input for accomplishing the programming, budgeting, financing, implementation, operations, support, and maintenance of assigned technology systems, including critical support for the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force and elements of the Headquarters, U.S. Air Force. Support requires work to have work performed at Joint Base Andrews (Andrews AFB) in Maryland.


This specific position will support Enterprise Configuration Management. The candidate will help deploy, secure, sustain, and provide reliable access to all systems and configuration and monitoring tools necessary to maintain service uptime to achieve the needs of the organization.


JOB DESCRIPTION: Uses advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems. Performs complex statistical analysis on experimental or business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts. Constructs predictive models, algorithms and probability engines to support data analysis or product functions; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on real-world results. Creates analysis datasets, assesses quality of data analysis programs and develops automated analysis tools where appropriate. May be responsible for data integration and/or creation and quality control of statistical submission components to regulatory agencies. May partner with biostatisticians and clinical data management staff in establishing standards for data collection, management and /or reporting of data. Documents statistical results of assigned projects.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
