We are seeking an Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for researching, writing, and editing materials for related IT processes, plans, procedures, work instructions, knowledge articles, reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instructional material, catalogs, technical publications, and/or software and hardware documentation.

Involves testing software and systems to find security vulnerabilities, ensure compliance, and verify that security measures are working correctly. Key responsibilities include identifying vulnerabilities, integrating security testing into the development lifecycle, collaborating with security experts, and performing risk assessments to build and maintain a strong security posture. 

ONSITE at the DOT Headquarters in Washington, DC

Identifying Vulnerabilities: Automated Tools are used to scan for vulnerabilities.  The QA will review/assess those findings and bring it back to the Sr. Solution CyberArk and SailPoint Engineers.

Integrating Security Testing: Reviewing and examining the system's security policies and procedures. Combining security scanning, and risk assessments to provide an overall security posture of the system. Then taking back security risks found to engineers for review and fix.

Collaborating with CyberArk and SailPoint Sr. Solution Engineers: Daily collaborating with our Sr. Solution engineers involves review of ATO audits, initiation, and closure of ServiceNow tickets. QA will be responsible to manage and review the reassignment of tickets to the appropriate queue

Performing Risk Assessments: Identifying potential security risks and evaluating their impact on both CyberArk and SailPoint systems. Documenting that feedback into a Working Information Document for Sr. Solution Engineers review and posting to DOT approved SharePoint Drive.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree.  Degree may be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT systems. 
  • Must have experience with ISO or other quality management standard. 
  • Must be fully aware of IT project lifecycle.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
