SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Management Operations Intern to join our dynamic team within the Business and Customer Experience Office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program management operations and develop valuable skills in project intake, OKR (Objectives and Key Results) tracking, process improvement initiatives, and more. The ideal candidate will be a college student with excellent verbal and written communication skills, eager to learn and contribute to various aspects of our operations. This position may be anywhere within the US for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the project intake process by reviewing, documenting, and tracking incoming project requests.
  • Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of OKRs to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions.
  • Drive and support IT transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
  • Write clear and concise instructions and documentation for various processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support miscellaneous tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the program management operations team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

 Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in a STEM related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning and contributing.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
