Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate closely with the SAIC Corporate Real Estate team and other functional support elements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to each facility project assigned.
  • Oversight and management of security integrator subcontracts and performance.
  • Design ACS/IDS/CCTV systems for corporate offices in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Submit request for proposal (RFP) to security integrators and review returned proposals for technical acceptance.
  • Coordinate with security systems integrators to install and commission ACS/IDS/CCTV systems.
  • Assists in the development, management of and the implementation of the organization's Physical and Technical Security program.
  • Conduct physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments and participate in security inspections, assessments and review.
  • Serve as technical authority for implementing physical security measures to ensure physical security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced.

This position is remote, with limited travel to SAIC locations when needed. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High School and 14 years' experience; Associates Degree and 12 years' experience; Bachelors and 10 years or more of related experience; Masters and 8 years or more experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Physical/Technical Security experience.
  • Thorough understanding of NISPOM, ICD-705, UL-2050 and current TEMPEST midigations and countermeasures techniques.
  • Experience designing/administering Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV. (Lenel, DMP, and Eagle Eye preferred)
  • Experience building SCIF's, SAP/F's, and Open Storage Areas.
  • Experience reading facility and engineering drawings.
