This role is responsible for performing administration and maintenance of the organization's M365 systems with particular emphasis on email operations. Duties and activities include:

·         Monitor email performance and email routing by carrying out various qualitative assessments and spot checks on network performance levels.

·         Provide Tier 3 support to the service desk for M365 related issues.

·         Monitor existing messaging infrastructure and server usage and ensuring proper working order.

·         Meet with Government managers to initiate strategies to solve existing issues with network connections and to discuss plans to expand the scale of the email network if required.

·         Responsible for preparing informative documents relating to customer usage and specific system standards and ensures email systems meet service level requirements.

·         Maintain documentation and internal policies and procedures.

·         Provide inputs to periodic reports and other deliverable items.

·         Manage the M365 Operations team to ensure efficient handling of incident and task tickets.

·         Represent the M365 Operations team for the Engineering Review Board and various periodic briefings.

·         Provide general supervision to the M365 Operations team to ensure adherence to company policies regarding time charging and annual training.


  • ·     7 years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange / Exchange 365 and M365 applications
  • Bachelor's and 9 years experience, or additional experience is accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Strong knowledge of mail routing protocols, to include DMARC, DKIM, and similar
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • 5 years of experience leading a team
  • Have an active Public Trust clearance, or be able to obtain one
  • ·     Have a BS in Computer Science, Information Science, or related fields
  • Must Be a US Citizen
