Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).  The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a NISS Software Developer to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.

Job Description 

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
• Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
• End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software.
• Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
• Ensures software standards are met.
• The software development effort is being conducted with the Agile methodology and is being managed with the Atlassian tool set, including JIRA and Confluence.
•  Experience with Agile is a must, experience with other Atlassian tools is desired. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

It is required that the NISS Software Developer have the following qualifications:

• BA/BS.
• Five (5) or more years of experience.
• Secret clearance.
• Agile software development experience.
• Atlassian tool set experience.
• Current Security+ certificate.
• Three (3) years of Java.
• Three (3) years of Java Script.
• One (1) to two (2) years of jQuery.

Desired Qualifications

• MA/MS
• Years of experience
• Top Secret clearance
• One (1) to two (2) years of html/css experience
• Linux experience.
• Strong testing and debugging experience.
• RESTful API experience.
• Experience with COTS products.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
