SAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

NOTE: This position is fully remote ONLY for someone local to Crane, IN. Any applicants from out of state must be willing to relocate to be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide a variety of logistics support tasks applying the engineering and analytical disciplines required to implement acquisition logistics as a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with the design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement modifications of cost-effective systems that achieve the warfighters' peacetime and wartime readiness requirements for AEA systems/subsystems/components.
• Performs life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
• Help design, write, and edit technical documentation.
• Liaise with and interview software developers, team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information to define the content for technical documentation.
• Work closely with SMEs to develop, organize, write, and edit technical documents such as system design documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), management plans, and workplace instructions for documentation purposes.
• Organize material and complete written assignments and reviews according to set standards, such as style guides, regarding order, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Ensure document adherence to classification marking rules/regulations.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years or more of related experience; additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret needed to start
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
