Job Description: 

SAIC is seeking a mid-level Logistics Analyst to support our Mobility Platform Integration program under the Navy Seaport contract at NSWC Crane. This full-time, onsite position is based out of SAIC's Bedford, Indiana facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in lifecycle logistics, material planning, and integrated logistics support (ILS). This role supports logistics analysis, sustainment planning, cost estimation, and bill of materials (BOM) development. It also involves daily use of government ERP systems and internal tools such as the SAIC Integrated Material Tracking (IMT) system to manage and forecast program material needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform logistics and sustainment analysis in support of lifecycle planning across mobility platforms.
  • Develop and manage detailed Bills of Material (BOM) and material procurement forecasts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure timely delivery and tracking of material.
  • Analyze usage trends, field data, and inventory reports to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and deliverables, including CDRLs.
  • Provide inputs for logistics elements of cost estimates and proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with program timelines and customer requirements.
  • Utilize SAIC IMT, government ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools to maintain data accuracy and traceability.
  • Support maintenance planning and integration of fielded systems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (4 additional years of experience may substitute in lieu of degree)
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or material management.
  • Experience working with government ERP systems and logistics databases.
  • Familiarity with SAIC IMT or similar internal systems.
  • Strong understanding of DoD logistics and sustainment principles.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable logistics plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting Navy, Marine Corps, or NSWC Crane programs.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition logistics and government supply systems (e.g., GCSS-MC, FEDLOG).
  • Experience working on Navy Seaport contracts or similar IDIQ environments.
