The successful candidate for this position will support the identification of on-contract growth opportunities as well as the maturation and shaping of new opportunities with specific emphasis on SAIC's solutions to be presented to clients within the Department of Justice working collaboratively with the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Executive Team, Business Development, Capture Managers, and Program Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and establishes relationships between the company, strategic partners and Law Enforcement Community contacts.
- Preference given to candidates experienced in understanding the IT infrastructure and emerging needs across the Law Enforcement community with a focus in familiarity with large-scale events that intersect multiple Law Enforcement agencies and organizations.
- Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies that provides the business an opportunity to grow revenue.
- Responsible for the maintenance of long-term relationships with Law Enforcement community contacts to maintain a high level of satisfaction and increase SAIC responses to federal mission needs.
- Serve as a primary interface for all SAIC products and services by ensuring they understand the clients' continuing business needs and align those needs with SAIC capabilities to provide full life-cycle solutions.
- Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after any business transaction.
- Supports executive sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and eighteen (18) years or more of IT-related experience.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with law enforcement environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale events that intersected multiple Law Enforcement organizations.
- Outstanding record of identifying mission critical needs and developing / implementing solutions, successfully
- Outstanding verbal, writing, and inter-personal skills needed to communicate effectively and persuasively with personnel at all levels, both in client spaces and within SAIC.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and service-based contracting, acquisition trends, Procurement innovation, and client buying behaviors.
Must possess at least a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
