SAIC's Space & Intel Business Group, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking an IT Project Manager to provide technical project management support and to perform software development activities within budget. 

This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints, and grooming sessions.
• Develop long-term and strategic objectives to ensure end user requirements will be satisfied in future years.
• Meet schedule and delivery commitments within budget.
• Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.
• Coordinate program management activities, including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings and presentations.
• Create and maintain Project Management Review (PMR) slides for projects and brief PMR slides.
• Work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors.
• Understand the Sponsor's target environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Provide the Sponsor's estimated costs of deploying system components to the target environment.
• Coordinate and collaborate with security, operations, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
• Create, manage, and update Jira tickets. Software Engineering:
• Comply with the Sponsor's Lean Agile methodology.
• Manage the progress of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product integration and development efforts.
• Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.
• Work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors.
• Understand the Sponsor's target environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Coordinate and collaborate with security, operations, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
• Create, manage and update Jira tickets. 
• Design, develop, and modify software systems.
• Unit test their software and perform code reviews.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Bachelor's and 14 years or more experience; Master's and 9 years or more experience.
  • Note: Additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 
• Demonstrated experience in the following: 
  • Leading an Agile developments team to include generating sprint plans.
  • Technical project management with full life cycle software development.
  • Meeting schedule and delivery commitments within budget.
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, contractors and senior level staff. 
  • Developing and maintaining long-term and strategic objectives to ensure end user requirements will be satisfied in future years.
  • Using Jira for managing backlogs, portfolios, products, and sprints.
  • Monitoring the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements.
  • Recommending or taking required corrective actions.
  • Risk identification, management, and mitigation.
  • Tailoring complex technical ideas and concepts to be communicated to a range of audiences in briefing and reports.
