SAIC is hiring an Information Technology Project Coordinator to support the Manpower Management Office (MMO) within the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) under the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M).  This position is 100% onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.  The candidate must have an active Secret clearance to start.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as technical expert for the sustainment and development of system infrastructure and scheduling of products and services related to the transition, sustainment, and enhancement of the authoritative data system for the ODA&M MMO.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the fulfillment of IT system strategic planning, design, transition, operations, and continual improvement of IT services.
  • Prepare necessary IT authorization documents, plans, and certifications for the operations, maintenance, and development of IT systems supporting the MMO mission, to include preparing official documentation and requests for approval (i.e., Authorization to Proceed (ATP), System of Record Notice (SORN), Authorization to Operate (ATO)).
  • Coordinate with networks host, authorization officials, and IT stakeholders, regarding the management and upkeep of the ATOs and Risk Management Frameworks, and other vital artifacts.
  • Organize and monitor multiple interconnected projects.
  • Liaise with primary and peripheral service providers, vendors, mission partners, and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and manage associated key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reports for IT systems supporting the MMO mission; recommends opportunities for improvement or efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain the system lifecycle plan based on Department and MMO priorities.
  • Coordinate efforts with user community stakeholders to refine system requirements, mature technical specification, and prioritize customer-recommended features.
  • Monitor and manage system interconnections with other DoD platforms.
  • Support system Change Control Board (CCB) decisions and subsequent implementation.
  • Experience with best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM), DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and ISO 20000 international standards.

Qualifications

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Secret clearance required to start.
  • US citizenship.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; Masters and three (3) years of experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least 5 years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoD.
  • 5 years of IT experience on large-scale Federal programs with hands-on experience with project management office processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Professionalism and experience working with senior DoD leadership.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting to provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.
