SAIC is currently seeking an Information Knowledge Management Specialist on Ford Island, in Oahu, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM's Force Development and Design (IFDD) Directorate (J732) to optimize the flow, accessibility, and utilization of vital information and knowledge assets.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Design, implement, and maintain J732's knowledge management systems, repositories, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, internal networks), ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with USINDOPACOM and DoD standards.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for knowledge capture, organization, storage, retrieval, dissemination, and archiving.
- Manage content lifecycle, ensuring information is accurate, current, relevant, and properly tagged/categorized for discoverability.
- Develop and manage robust information architectures and taxonomies for J732's diverse information assets, including concepts, wargame results, analytical reports, exercise outcomes, lessons learned, and capability development documentation.
- Ensure consistency and interoperability of information across various systems and with other USINDOPACOM directorates and component commands.
- Work closely with J732 subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify, capture, and codify tacit and explicit knowledge from wargames, exercises, experiments, studies, and operational experience.
- Curate and synthesize complex information into actionable insights, reports, and briefs for leadership.
- Oversee the publication and dissemination of J732 products, ensuring adherence to classification, security, and dissemination controls.
- Will serve as the primary AI integrator as J732 develops AI use across all efforts.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and zero (0) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated experience with knowledge management platforms and collaborative tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft 365 suite, AI platforms).
- Strong understanding of information architecture, content management systems, and data governance principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to hire and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance; SAIC will help to obtain.
- Must have current US Citizenship.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
