SAIC is seeking an engineer with experience in computer programming and software development to join the GPS Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team.
SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a software developer on the GPS SE&I Test and Evaluation team you will develop tools which collect and analyze GPS data. The GPS SE&I team works in a high-paced environment with Govt personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for positioning, navigation, and timing. Major duties of this position include:
Duties:

Create software analysis tools to enable the GPS team to verify requirements in support of GPS enterprise testing.

Support design and architecture of software to assist the team in understanding large/complex data sets.

Understand and analyze large data sets to compile meaningful results.

Analyze GPS capabilities, including technical requirements, implementation plans, technical impacts of changes, and risks to success.

Produce and contribute to reports that provide recommendations for fixes to issues and ways forward on technical challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Science

Secret clearance

5+ years of overall experience

Demonstrated experience with designing and developing software

Experience with C (++ or #) and Python

Experience with code configuration management and control tools/processes

Demonstrated understanding of Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams

Experience with MS Visual Studio C++, C#, Python, MatLab

Experience and familiarity working with DoD organizations
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
