SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our team in San Diego, CA. The intern will learn the essential functions of DoD finance and assist with various financial tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial analysis and modeling.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct research on financial trends and market analysis.
- Help with data entry and maintenance of financial databases.
- Aid in the preparation of presentations for executive management.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma and one (1) or more years of completed coursework towards a college degree.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must possess good oral and written communications skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
