SAIC is actively seeking Experiment Leads at all levels of experience (Junior thru Senior and SME) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO). We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals with a broad range of intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale to advance technical capabilities and maximize the effectiveness of USARPAC programs, operations, and partnerships throughout the USARPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR).

These positions are contingent upon contract award expected Summer 2024 and will be located in Hawaii.

The Experiment Lead plans, develops, manages, and  supports  planning and analysis services to assist in the development of U.S. Army Pacific's Theater Army-level warfighting concepts, which will shape Army Warfighting Concepts, identify functional capability gaps, and facilitate experimentation with fielding of potential solutions. Analyzes strategic and operational capability gaps, as revealed by the experimentation and assessment of Theater Army Warfighting Concepts, and then aligns and coordinates with strategic partners to bring capabilities into USARPAC OAIs for experimentation. Assists in the integration of experiments across warfighting functions and domains and capture lessons learned from across the Theater Army. Supports USARPAC Concepts Directorate with experimentation and concepts branches to drive capabilities integration to meet the needs of soldiers in competition, crisis, and conflict. Provides support for experimentation and concepts integrated into USARPAC's throughout the execution of Operation Pathways.

Duties:

  • Analyzes strategic and operational capability gaps, as revealed by the experimentation and assessment of Theater Army Warfighting Concepts, and aligns and coordinates with strategic partners to  bring capabilities into USARPAC OAIs for experimentation.
  • Assists in the integration of experiments across warfighting functions and domains and capture lessons learned from across the Theater Army. 
  • Assists the Government in integrating with G37 exercises, G3 training, and sub-units to plan, align partners, and coordinate experimentation venues, requiring assistance  in the coordination and alignment of rapid and joint  programs to leverage experimentation capabilities and further Theater Army experimentation.
  • Provides implementation, assessment, and analysis of USARPAC wargames;  Tabletop Exercises (TTXs); FTXs; joint exercises; and LVCG technologies to provide realistic experimentation and exercises designed to build readiness and integrate concepts throughout the  Indo-Pacific theater.
  • This involves assisting the Government with the execution of  experimentation and rehearsals with Army, joint, ally, and partner forces in the Indo-Pacific  theater and under the conditions in which they will most likely operate.
  • Provides assessments and analyses of exercise results and the capabilities deployed in exercise, experimentation, and training environments.
  • Gathers feedback from intelligence consumers to determine if the requirements are being  satisfied and revises intelligence requirements based on feedback received to identify issues, minimize information gaps, and mitigates capability shortfalls.  
  • Develops intelligence Measures of Performance (MOPs) and intelligence Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors degree and five (5)  years' experience; Four (4) years' additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
    • There may be positions available at all levels 0-20+ years experience

     DESIRED:

    • Command or joint level experience for Senior or SME hires
    • Post graduate degree in associated field of study for Senior or SME hires

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

    • Must have an active TS clearance to start work
    • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI
