The Customer's Executive Strategic Integrator plays a critical role shaping the department's strategy, internal coordination of the strategy with the workforce, and external engagement with mission partners on the strategy.  As a member of the department Front Office team, they ensure consistency across all department internal and external engagements in alignment with department and stakeholder strategic priorities.  At its core, the Executive Strategic Integrator position ensures that department engagements with mission partners and target audiences – at all levels – consistently represent ongoing research endeavors, key partnerships, and mission priorities in alignment with the department strategy.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Driving department integration activities by translating strategic objectives into actionable organization plans that promote collaboration and the creation of a stronger innovation ecosystem.

  • Developing/drafting/coordinating/executing a department strategy to integrate department innovation, collaboration, outreach, and communication efforts in alignment with department and stakeholder priorities.

  • Supporting the development of department-wide strategic executive-level presentations and documents including all hands presentations, program overviews, conference presentations, workforce messages, department cross-walks, and other informational communication.

  • Reviewing/drafting/editing mission highlights and placemats in coordination with the department technology portfolios to be consistent with strategy.

  • Coordinating strategic messaging for all department-wide events (all hands, technical exchanges, cross-walks, etc).

  • Creating key talking points for internal and external mission partner engagements.

  • Documenting key takeaways from all department internal and external engagements and ensuring follow up.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and at least eight years of work experience.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • High degree of proficiency with standard MS Office products such as Word and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to convey strategic concepts and directives in relatable terms to a variety of audiences.

  • Demonstrated initiative to decompose, prioritize, and complete complex tasks without explicit instructions.

  • Team player with the ability to effectively interact/collaborate/partner with officers across the entire department in pursuit of joint success.

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of one or more components of the current department R&D portfolio.

  • Official certification and/or previous experience as a strategic communicator and/or enterprise integrator.
