SAIC is seek individuals with project management skills to provide data governance support to work seamlessly with the data ingestion team. Individuals are responsible for providing project management support to the Sponsor to aid in its Identity data management from ingestion through exploitation. The capability includes an identity data transformation team that enables exploitation of ingested data and a mission support team that enables field collection. Position may also be responsible for exploring and implementing new data enhancement tools and methodologies.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ability to identify risks and devise mitigation plans that otherwise could impact project schedules;
  • Ability to follow established data governance processes;
  • Actively review data and reports for accuracy;
  • Ability to manage multiple high priorities concurrently in a changing environment;
  • Ability to team with customers to successfully resolve issues impacting data governance;
  • Ability to answer customer questions in a timely manner using easy to understand terms and explanations;
  • Develop and maintain quad charts detailing project status for branch projects;
  • Facilitate acceptance of changes amongst the ingestion branch and data governance teams as the Division moves to new workflow's;
  • Ability to brief senior Sponsor management and mission partners on branch work;
  • Quickly respond to front office action items in a professional and accurate manner;
  • Ability to develop process improvements and document new processes as new work demands;
  • Schedule, attend, and conduct meetings on behalf of the branch


  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or (4 years of experience in lieu of degree) with 6 years of directly related experience;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience working as a project manager in an IT enterprise environment;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience working with engineers to ensure the right plan, design, and product is engineered and implements;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience writing official Sponsor communications on the Sponsor's system;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience with copy writing and copy editing;

  • Must have experience conducting operational research;

  • Must have extensive knowledge of relevant US regulatory policy issues related to operations (foreign and domestic), investigations, and technology;

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate highly complex, mission critical ideas;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience collaborating with Sponsor staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience engineering large scale data acquisition, cleansing, transforming, and processing of structured and unstructured data;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience translating product requirements into system solutions that take into account technical, schedule, cost, security, and policy constraints;

  • Must be able to demonstrated experience providing technical direction to project teams of developers and data scientists;

  • Must have ability to support the potential for travel between customer buildings. The primary duty location is in Chantilly, but POV travel may occur to the Sponsor's WMA locations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Certificated Project Management Professional from an accredited institution
