SAIC is seeking 3 Corporate Legal Interns for summer 2025. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, gain valuable experience, and contribute to meaningful projects. Positions will be located in Huntsville, AL and Reston, VA.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Intern to join our in-house legal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate law, to work closely with experienced legal professionals, and participate in a capstone project with a briefing to the Office of the General Counsel. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on a wide range of corporate law topics, providing thorough analysis and insights.
• Develop written reports and briefings that effectively communicate legal findings and recommendations to the legal team and other stakeholders.
• Shadow in-house lawyers across various business and corporate functions, gaining exposure to real-world legal issues and transactions.
• Assist with additional legal projects and tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the legal department. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) program at an accredited law school with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Strong academic record, particularly in courses related to corporate law, business law, or similar fields.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal information.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in a legal setting is a plus.
