SAIC has an opening for a Construction Surveillance Technician located aboard Camp Blaz, Guam responsible to provide specialized security expertise for in support of Headquarters, United States Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Department. This position is supporting the construction of new construction aboard Camp Blaz, Guam. The CST will provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.
Job Duties:
- Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
- Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
- Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.
- Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.
- Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative
- Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.
- Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and (10) ten years of related experience.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI (U.S. Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with the 16 standard divisions of construction
- Must hold a valid certificate for CST training.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities for long periods of time.
- Must have a solid understanding of ICD/ICS-705
- Ability to work and lead in a team environment with demonstrated experience in a range of security disciplines and excellent customer interface skills.
- Good analytical skills and be able to operate in a demanding environment while executing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Be proficient and skilled in the most current version of Microsoft Office software.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
Desired Qualification:
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
