SAIC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist responsible for configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Confluence and Jira experience is a must — all documentation, release artifacts, and tracking activities are maintained in Jira and Confluence. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing these tools for project collaboration, issue tracking, and knowledge management.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to interface with multiple stakeholders, including Government personnel, civilian staff, and other contractor entities, to successfully plan, manage, and execute release management activities.
• Identifying and maintaining the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.
• Configuration change control — regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. 
• Tracking all problems and changes in product documents and software and reporting changes and current configuration. 
• Supporting audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met by the as-built software and supporting software quality assurance process audits.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• BS/BA with 5 years' experience desired but significant pertinent experience will be considered.
• SECRET clearance required.
• Experience with ServiceNow to facilitate the creation, tracking, and closure of change requests for software releases, patching, and any other change events as requested by the Government (GOV).

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
