Core Creative is looking for candidates who can collaborate with managers and multi-disciplinary teams, including cross organization communities of interest (COI) and virtual networks, in the intelligence community, to support development of strategic communications plans, message coordination, and integration of communications media and activities. The Communications Manager will create a link between IC Components and the Client's strategic priorities, ensuring that outreach efforts advance mission and promote an understanding of its operational initiatives.

The Communications Manager will also be responsible for helping identify areas of growth, assist with developing new team members, and develop workflow and processes for managing a team of communication specialists.


Ideal candidates need to possess a current TS/SCI with poly and will be asked to submit a writing sample.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas:

  • Implementing strategic communications plan, to include establishing a messaging schedule;

  • Developing brand and its integration into communications vehicles;

  • Collating and drafting news and information to share via websites;

  • Drafting articles to communicate initiatives to the greater workforce;

  • Assist drafting Director messages;

  • Advise the Communications Office through requirements gathering and management in working groups and forums;

  • Assisting the front office to develop and produce communications materials to include:

    • Draft memoranda

    • Visual schematics of ideas (working with Designers);

    • Briefings;

    • Draft informal and formal letters

    • Draft emails

    • Draft web posting

    • Develop messaging for marketing materials

  • Facilitate branding and graphic standards, and other uniform ways to describe and align messages across organizations.
  • Provide routine progress reports on strategic communications activities.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews on written products.
  • Provide strategic advice regarding approaches for connecting with target audiences, workforce transition, and managing teams and communities of interest.
