SAIC is looking for highly motivated individual to fill an Advanced-level Deployment (Site Activation/Deployment Integration) Analyst position to provide deployment, logistical, sustainment, and operational support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The candidate will apply facilities acquisition experience and analysis skills in support of facilities planning, design, construction, and site activation (deployment integration). 

This position is currently hybrid remote.  The selected candidate must reside within commuting distance (50 miles) of Redstone Arsenal, AL, and be willing to travel to supplier, client, or construction site locations which may include international and overseas sites.  Travel is a requirement of this position, both CONUS and OCONUS to include above average Temporary Duty (TDY) approximately 25-35%.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of site activation/deployment integration and MDS system deployment requirements
  • Developing program planning documents (schedules, statements of work, cost estimate support, activation/ integration plans)
  • Developing site deployment facilities requirements documentation and site deployment plans
  • Development of Standard Operating Procedures for on-site operational activities that promote continual process improvement
  • Coordination and execution of daily operational administration at MDS deployed sites
  • Mentor and provide guidance/oversight to basic and intermediate analysts
  • Rotational deployment to MDS sites to support on-site construction activities surveillance and reporting
  • Operational support to multiple Deployment Product Managers
  • Developing acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions
  • Performing special research or technical studies critical to deployment and site sustainment support functions
  • Researching industry business best practices and assisting with incorporating these into Agency/company policies, procedures, and processes to promote continual process improvement
  • Planning and execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams
  • Developing MDA policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices
  • Coordinating and execution of daily administration of MDS deployed sites
  • Interact with and coordinate site activation (deployment integration)/operations tasks with the government customer, host installations, A&E firms, and executing agencies
  • Participate in project planning and design scoping sessions, charrettes, reviews, and other technical activities as required
  • Provide support in project execution status reviews via status meetings and schedule reviews
  • Prepare project briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint and information papers in Microsoft Word
  • Draft, review, and contribute to technical reports and documentation

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree and sixteen (16) or more years of experience; Master's degree and twelve (13) years or more of relevant experience.

Required Clearance:

  • Interim Secret clearance required
  • US citizenship required

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to lead the development and utilization of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities
  • Capable of leading and executing analytical tasks, utilizing analytical techniques and processes for complex developmental and operational programs
  • Possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge of an applicable facilities-related discipline
  • Capable of working independently or in a team to solve problems, organize work tasks, and prioritize workload
  • Ability to analyze project documents, meeting notes, and team correspondence to extract issues requiring senior leadership attention, and prepare briefs for communicating to target audience
  • Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment, often across multiple levels of leadership and for different managers
  • Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions which are in the best interest of the government customer
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Project management experience during site deployment, to include construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management
  • Flexibility to travel/deploy to MDS sites for up to 30-40 days at a time, and up to 2-3 times per year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency
  • Experience in facilities requirements development, design, construction, closeout, and configuration management
  • Experience in DoD site activation for deployed and test activities, U.S. and international sites
  • Experience with integrated project planning, management, and scheduling
  • Experience developing and implementing program activities; coordinating efforts of multiple stakeholders, prime contractors and subcontractors, and support service personnel
  • Problem resolving skills in the areas of site deployment and site sustainment to meet mission requirements 
  • Project management experience during site deployment, to include construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management
