We are looking for a talented and versatile IT Senior Software Programmer with extensive experience in Salesforce development. The IT Senior Software Programmer will be responsible for requirements gathering, designing, developing, and maintaining software on various platforms to enhance user experience and streamline business operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understand of the Salesforce Service and B2B modules as well as experience in low-code, extensible cloud platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate and Monday.com. This position is located in Livonia, MI.

As an IT Senior Software Programmer you will:

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications to support business processes and improve customer relationship management
  • Support production software and software processes based on customer expected level of operational support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across all platforms
  • Capture and document customer, user, and technical software requirements
  • Develop solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to automate processes and provide data insights
  • Configure and optimize Monday.com workflows and data integrations to enhance product utilization
  • Understand and implement measures to protect software and track, identify and eliminate security threats
Minimum qualifications to be considered:
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years proven development experience in Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification
  • Background in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design
  • Experience in building custom solutions and data integrations for business needs
  • Proficiency in Apex, Salesforce's proprietary programming language for developing custom applications and triggers
  • Knowledge of Visualforce for creating custom user interfaces
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning for building modern, dynamic web applications
  • Understanding Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) for data retrieval
A successful candidate may also have:
  • Development experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce module
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Experience with project management tools and understanding of workflow processes
  • Ability to train clients and users on how to use and manage their applications and processes
  • Hands-on experience developing in Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Knowledge of Monday.com, including workflow configuration and automation.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including building apps with Power Apps, automating workflows with Power Automate, and creating reports with Power BI
  • Creative thinking to design visually appealing and functional website
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and client-side frameworks like React or Angular
  • Knowledge of API, REST and SOAP web services development for systems data integration
  • Knowledge of authentication methods and managing app scopes
