1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: This position develops and delivers activities and educational programs in the staff resiliency and wellness programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Wellness Program Coordinator will organize and implement a comprehensive resiliency programs for staff on Resiliency, Stress & Burnout Reduction, and Wellness oriented topics; coordinate delivery of a comprehensive program that supports these activities for staff; collaborate with community partners to create a network of Resiliency, Stress & Burnout Reduction, and Wellness programming available to staff of Roswell Park; collaborate with academic investigators to develop an initial and long-term research agenda involving resiliency, stress and burnout reduction and wellness for healthcare workers at Roswell Park. This Wellness Program Coordinator will work the Resiliency Program Leader, other Roswell Park leadership, and faculty across multiple disciplines to identify areas of interest in Resiliency and Stress/Burnout Reduction programming. In addition, the Resiliency Program Coordinator will implement and oversee program of services in Resiliency and Stress/Burnout Reduction program to include, but not limited to: (1) mind-body, mindfulness, meditation, yoga or other movement therapy; (2) traditional Chinese medicine; (3) cooking and food preparation classes; (4) massage; (5) nutrition and supplement counseling; (6) Reiki or other healing touch therapy; or (7) aromatherapy. This position works with leadership and faculty to identify partners within the community to collaborate with on Resiliency and Stress/Burnout Reduction programming. This position will coordinate programming in collaboration with the Wellness Program Coordinator counterpart focused on patients and family members to develop and deliver wellness and stress reduction programs to staff across all clinical, education and research areas of Roswell Park.

Salary range is $57,247 - $72,203 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or one (1) year of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or six (6) months of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or two (2) years of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or one (1) year of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility; or
3. Associate's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or four (4) years of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or two (2) years of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have a Master's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health, or a related field; experience with data analysis, outcomes measurement, quality improvement research, and basic grant writing. The preferred candidate should be familiar with Roswell Park and programming; experience with resiliency, burnout reduction program development, and working on a team of diverse disciplines. In addition, the preferred candidate should be familiar with community resources on stress reduction and resiliency; experience with moral distress and compassion fatigue.
