Title: Patient Education Facilitator

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Patient Education Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Functions as a resource for the development, creation, coordination, organization, implementation and evaluation of clinical patient education materials and projects for Roswell Park and its satellites, affiliates, and community partners. Assists with integration of patient education materials across multiple platforms and localities in support of Roswell Park's mission and values. Maintains the Patient Education database, and its reports. Responsible for developing, organizing and performing educational sessions for patients across the Roswell Park Care Network.

Salary range is $58,247 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care; or
2. Associates Degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in patient/community education and/or oncology care.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have experience developing patient education materials and database management. The preferred candidate will have experience with community engagement and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and disseminate education presentations.
