1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as Program Coordinator for a variety of diversionary and psychosocial support programs offered by the organization and the broader Western New York community. Responsible for planning, implementing, and providing supportive activities and events that help patients and families navigate the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Gives patients a structured atmosphere, encouragement, and the opportunity to express themselves with the goals of normalizing cancer care and the clinical experience to minimize the emotional trauma, foster normal growth and development and provide essential life experiences for the patient and their families. Collaborates with community partners to create a network of people, companies, and volunteers to offer the programs available to the families who benefit from donations that support Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's (RPCCC) diversionary programs. Manages program memberships, donations, and the annual budget.The pay range for this position is $59,537 - $71,360 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Life or a related program/hospitality discipline; or
2.Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time program planning or related experience.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
