Title: CRS Sr. Administrator; Study Implementation Company: Health Research Inc. Department: Clinical Research Services Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as a Director in Clinical Research Services; develops and monitors the implementation of Roswell Park clinical research studies within the guidelines of the Code of Federal Regulations, International Conference on Harmonization, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Clinical Research Services Standard Operating Procedures; assumes responsibility for all aspects of study implementation and the clinical research management of all Roswell Park research study participants; interfaces with other departments, study sponsors and oncology research cooperative groups and agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to clinical research; provides education related to clinical research for CRS staff, other Roswell Park departments and the public at large; implements processes that ensure compliance with requirements for grants, contracts and other outside funding agencies; directs Roswell Park CRS personnel; promotes an environment that is conducive to professionalism, ongoing advancement and excellence in practice; identifies opportunities for improvement; facilitates and assesses process improvement and standardization within CRS, other Roswell Park departments and study sponsors to provide for accurate, efficient, timely and cost-effective clinical research and clinical care practices; supports processes to ensure compliance with requirements for grants/contracts and other outside funding; participates on various Roswell Park committees and in professional organizations; encourages and facilitates participation in and original research development for CRS staff; promotes and supports Roswell Park as a Center of Clinical Research Excellence. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Current certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP); or
2. Current certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA); or
3. Other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time clinical research experience, five (5) years of which were with management experience.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Prior Industry CRA experience
Prior experience developing and implementing Investigator written studies
Prior experience in the development and development of Investigator written studies
Prior Experience implementing IIT studies in a NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center
