1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Data Manager I provides clinical data services for the Biomedical Research Informatics Shared Resource. This includes pulling clinical data from the medical records, cancer registry, and other sources, and manually abstracting data from the medical records. The Data Manager I performs cohort selection services as well as delivery of HIPAA compliant data for the purpose of non-interventional research. The Data Manager I may be responsible to meet with researchers to determine their data requirements. The Data Manager I also fulfils research data requests in a timely manner and properly documents in the tracking system. They also assist senior staff with projects and research requests, as necessary.Salary range is $51,305 - $65,202 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a clinical trials and/or research environment.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have BA in science or medical field, previous data abstraction and data management, Scientific Research, and oncology research experience.
