Title: Acupuncturist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Department of Medicine - Survivorship & Supportive Care Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Provides the evaluation, plan of care, therapeutic intervention, reevaluation and education of patients who are referred for acupuncture, Facilitates acupuncture treatment sessions, Evaluates acupuncture treatment outcomes and recommends new or altered treatments as necessary, educates patients on treatment goals and therapy plans. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as an Acupuncturist in the State of New York; and
2. National Certification Commission for Acupuncture (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine.

Education and Experience
Master's degree from an accredited acupuncture program and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience with acupuncture, including a combination of two (2) years of full-time experience working in a hospital setting and/or treating oncology patients.

NOTE: 
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
