The EA performs a broad range of administrative duties for the President/CEO and CFO (and other administrative team members), and acts in their behalf in written and verbal communications.  Relieves administrators of a wide variety of details in order to allow them to perform more important tasks, and free them up to carry out the responsibilities that make them accountable in their positions within the hospital.  Assists in the daily management of general office operations, which also includes critical liaison activities with patients (and their families), members of the Rose Advisory Board and its Chairman, Medical Staff Members, community leaders and organizations, consultants and all levels of hospital administrators and personnel (within Rose and other HealthONE or HCA facilities).  Displays leadership skills to other administrative staff, by demonstrating a high standard of customer service skills and conveying a professional, yet friendly, demeanor.  Top level critical thinking and interpersonal skills is a must, as well as flexibility of job hours, in order to perform certain tasks effectively and within occasional tight time constraints.  Ardently follows the Rose Medical Center Mission and Values Statement.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required. College degree, business school or equivalent preferred.  Medical and finance background helpful.
  • Minimum of two years working directly for a CEO, and at least three years supporting executive level positions.  Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Outstanding organizational skills and interpersonal skills, transcription and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet).  Must be resourceful, able to problem solve, work independently and under high degrees of stress at times.  Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel and customers.  Should have a thorough understanding of the Hospital's Mission and Values Statement, and be accountable for demonstrating those values each and every day.
