Organization Overview
The ability to faithfully store and retrieve memories is an important adaptive quality that allows humans to reflect on, engage with, and respond to an ever-changing environment. Research in the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics and Cognition, led by Dr. Priya Rajasethupathy, focuses on observing and manipulating large-scale neural dynamics in real-time in behaving animals to understand memory processing in the mammalian brain during health and disease.
Overview
The Research Assistant will assist a postdoc or PhD student during in vivo mouse experiments, and support the project from the experimental planning phase to the execution and data analysis.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
- Experimental planning/ reading literature
- In vivo and in vitro experiments
- Data analysis work
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience working with animal models
- Minimum 2 year commitment
Preferred:
- Background in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or similar academic discipline

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including but not limited to organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. USD $55,000.00/Yr.
