SummaryThe Customer Service Manager - Chains will oversee and coordinate the activities of clerical and administrative staff, supporting critical operations between chain executives, warehouse teams, customers, and key departments. This role requires compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience in A/R reconciliation, an accounting background, and will manage the EDI billing process, including winery directs, and accounts receivable for annual sales exceeding $1B and monthly A/R over $100M.
In this role, you will- Contribute to strategic planning by providing information and recommendations to achieve operational goals.
- Implement standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Resolve customer complaints and address inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Supervise customer service staff to ensure compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and procedures, addressing any errors or issues.
- Provide guidance to employees on handling complex problems and resolving escalated complaints.
- Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in coordination with management.
- Address performance issues with employees, work on solutions, and provide or arrange necessary training.
- Evaluate employee performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend personnel actions.
- Review and verify records related to production, payroll, or shipping to monitor activities and assess performance.
- Recruit, interview, and select staff, and communicate work procedures and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; high school/technical school education or equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in accounting, finance, or a similar focus area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents, writing reports and correspondence, and presenting information to various audiences.
- Proficient in accounting software (Oracle AR, 9ci), internet software, and Microsoft Excel (moderate to advanced expertise). Familiarity with Salesforce, CCAAS, Experian, Fintech, iControl, and banking software.

Compensation
This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at $93,000 up to $107,000, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience.
